Marketing Lead (9 months academic leave cover)

The Marketing Lead is an important role in Wallet.Services – responsible for communicating our product and proposition to to business and government customers. You will report directly to the Commercial Director. You’ll be establishing and executing indirect marketing and content, building direct sales operations, and building business partnerships. You’ll have internal ops admin support and have the opportunity to be creative and to drive your ideas from inception to execution.

The role is structured as a 9 month graduate paid internship from October to June, in a vacancy created by academic leave. Next year? We’re a scaling startup, there a full time opportunities, and the sky’s the limit.

You’ll be working on:

  • Customer journey– optimisation and nurturing contacts

  • Communications and optimising our storytelling and messaging through social, events, community activities, briefings and newsletter

  • Content development of Web, webinar, video, Industry insights and blogs

  • Sales Co-ordination  - managing Segmentation, Campaign, Pipeline and Co-selling with business partners

There’ll be investment in skills and you’ll have the opportunity to learn and extend your network.  And if you have your own ideas, bring them with you!

What we need from you

A suitable candidate might have a Business or Marketing background, or come from a tech background with a wish get some business skills. Good commuinication skills and an open, learning attitude is essential. Its hard work  -- but fun!
